Fundraising events

We have been doing different things to raise money for Oscar. Here is a list of things organised so far:

• We have a raffle running at the moment due to be drawn on the 15th August 1st prize is a £ 35 facial voucher kindly donated byTracey Lamb of The Beauty Room in Ecclesfield, 2nd prize is a bottle of Lanson Champagne and 3rd prize is a box of Thorntons chocolates. We will be announcing the winners on the 15th /16th of August.
• Our friend Julie is organising an aerobathon at Thorpe Hesley date to be confirmed.
• Chantils cousin Keeley is getting sponsored to do sphering, thats when you get strapped inside a huge rubber ball and rolled down a hill at 30 miles an hour. Crazy!!!
• 31st August we have 2 tables at the Mechanics Institute at Wentworth where we will be holding raffles and a tombola and also selling cakes.
• Our friend Helen Elleker is looking for sponsorship to run the Bupa 10K in Sheffield on the 6th September.
• Keepmoat in Sheffield have arranged a sponsored golf tournament to be held on 12th September, kindly arranged by Kitch at the Fox Hill Compound.
• On 19th September there is a pudding night being held at St Bedes church, bring a pudding and try everyone elses, plus raffles and an auction, tickets cost £6.50.
• Chantil's cousin Michelle and her daughter Carly are doing a sponsored sky dive on the 19th September. Any one else who wants to throw themselves out of a plane is welcome to join in, location Scunthorpe.
• On 27th September at 11am the hairstylists from Headspace in Hillsborough will doing a 3 legged race around Dam Flask in Sheffield. Meeting place yacht club, go along and cheer them on.
• On the 8th October we will be at the car boot at Elsecar Heritage Centre in Barnsley, donations of items to sell would be gratefully recieved.
• Alison Helliwell of Virgin Vie cosmetics has offered to hold a cosmetics party and donate some of the proceeds, date to be arranged.
• We have also been selling loads of items on Ebay, our ID is andcalv0 most stuff has been sold but we still have some auctions going.
